How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone. Find Soaper Premium and tap "Cancel Subscription." You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
Does Soaper work offline?
Yes! All core features work perfectly without an internet connection. Your recipes are stored locally on your device and sync when you're online — through iCloud on Apple platforms, or Google Firebase on Android with Premium.
What devices are supported?
Soaper is available for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Android. Your data is backed up automatically — to iCloud on Apple platforms, or Google Firebase on Android with Premium.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open Soaper on your new device and go to the Premium screen. Tap "Restore Purchases" to restore your active subscription. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you subscribed through, not by us. On iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, visit reportaproblem.apple.com — see our Apple Refund Policy. On Android, request a refund through Google Play — see our Android Refund Policy.
Is my data safe?
Your recipes and data are stored on your device first, and how they sync depends on your platform. On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, sync uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit — the data lives in your iCloud account, not on our servers, and we don't have access to it. On Android, Soaper uses Google Firebase as its cloud backend, so your library — recipes, moulds, batches, inventory, suppliers, brands, custom ingredients, shopping lists, saved blends, attachment photos and documents, your app preferences and your trial and subscription state — is stored there. It's encrypted in transit and at rest. If you haven't signed in, it sits under a randomly generated anonymous identifier and isn't tied to your personal identity; if you used the optional Google sign-in, it's tied to that account so your library can follow you to a new phone.
